Allah (SWT) revealed the Holy Quran on Prophet Muhammad (PBHUM). It is the only source of guidance for the mankind. However, it should be recited while following all the rules of recitation. These rules make sure that there is no ambiguity or misunderstanding. They come under the term of “Tajweed”.
In Arabic, the letters have certain attributes. So, it is very likely to swap one letter for other. For example, two letters may be very similar but differ only in their heaviness. This is the case with Qaaf (ق) and Kaaf (ك). Interchanging these letters will result in the change of meaning. However, this is only one instance. There are many rules to be learnt. Moreover, it is an obligation on every Muslim to recite Quran with Tajweed.
It seems scary. But it is not. We have designed two courses for this. “The Basic Quran Reading Course” is introductory in nature. It will help you in spelling Quranic phrases. The focus will be on pronunciation and other aspects of Tajweed. “Quran Reading with Tajweed Course” is the application of the rules while reading Quran. Moreover, our experienced teachers will help you through the journey. For more information, click here.
