How to learn Norani Qaida?

Norani Qaida has been a staple for Arabic and Quranic reading for centuries. It is a booklet of a mere 31 pages. But it is extremely effective. It has withstood the test of time. Online Quran Academy has adopted it for its Basic Quran Reading Course.

Norani Qaida has 16 lessons. Each lesson communicates some basic principles or their practice. The lessons are designed with increasing difficulty. Each lesson builds on the preceding lessons.

There are two ways to learn Norani Qaida. You can either read it with spelling (Hija) or without spelling. Each method has its pros and cons. Spelling may take some time. But it is effective for building firm foundations. Reading Norani Qaida without spelling means less time with shallow foundations.
